Risø-DTU confirms platform stability for mounting of wind mills.
Completed the initial 4 months off-shore test of Poseidon 37 with very good results.

2008
Off shore test of Poseidon 37 initiated by September 30 at DONG’s offshore wind turbine park at Onsevig.
Construction of Poseidon 37 completed.
Organization strengthened with Carsten Beck as managing director.

2007
Construction of Poseidon 37, a 37 meters wide wave energy plant and floating wind turbine foundation, initiated at Nakskov Shipyard.
Organization established with first executive team and working Board of Directors.
FPP acquired all IP rights from the inventor.

2004
FPP formed as a company.

2001-2002
Completed tests of full model, 8 meters wide, with wind turbines in off-shore basin at DHI (The Danish Hydraulic Institute).

1999 – 2000
Completed test of floats 0,7 x 1,4 meters in wave channel chest at DHI.

1998
Test of the full 4,2 meters floating power plant at Aalborg University. First conceptual design.

1980 – 1997
The original founder and inventor Hans Marius Pedersen develops wave energy concepts.
